Welcome to holiday jive.

Holiday Jive was formed with the intention to promote good value rock'n'roll dance weekends and holidays at a cost that everyone could afford.

As all of us at Holiday Jive work full time in our chosen professions no one draws a wage payment, we don't do this for a living,we do it to promote good value rock'n'roll,so we are able to offer you the same high standard of service,Entertainment, and accommodation as all the other organisations but at a lower cost, as we don't need to make a huge profit to cover our salary, we just need to cover the cost of the event so we are able to reduce the cost between £20.00 and £30.00 per person , and some times more depending on the event.

We have heard people say that if our events our cheaper than everyone else, can they be any good ? our answer to this is,Think about it

Rockin' the joint, the heartbeats

Joey & the jivers, the b 17's

The earl jackson band, razzle dazzle

Abbie marie, johnny earl

Plus all the other top rated bands,and solo performers.

The Venues which we use

The trouville hotel, isle of wight, The ocean view hotel bournemouth

The victoria hotel, torquay, The redcliffe hotel, paignton

but to name a few, all the accommodation is at least 4 star, and is on a half board basis, and with the sole use of the Ballroom during our stay.

Another weekend dance event being held at the same hotel as ours (ie) The redcliffe hotel paignton, 3 nights accommodation, half board with 4 course silver service evening meal and top live rock'n'roll entertainment all for the cost of £209.00 per person.

Compared to

Our cost at Holiday Jive for exactly the same type of event with the only real difference being the line up of entertainment booked.is £168.00 pp if booked before march 31st 2010, Thats a saving of £41.00 per person,and if you book this event after march 31st 2010 the cost will be £178.00 pp,but that will still be givin you a saving of £31.00 per person, so that would relate to a saving of either £82.00 or £62.00 per couple depending on when you booked your event,and this saving could be used towards another weekend away.

We at Holiday Jive will not charge a single person supplement when there is no need to.

What can possibly be wrong  with an event organised by people that have supported rock'n'roll for over 30 years,use the same top quality hotels and bands as everyone else, but most of all save you money,

We know that other organisers may make comments about our events,but these comments will only be made  to convince you that you really do need to spend more of your money to stay at the same hotels and see the same bands,and lets not forget pay there salary.

Any organisation that say they hold the best dance events are only promoting there events by taking the credit away from you the guests that support the events.We as promoters should under promise, and over deliver on our dance events to give you the best possible value and enjoyment.

The atmosphere at any event is created by the guests,if you get a great atmosphere in your venue then you will be sure to have a great event, and one that people will talk about for weeks after.
